🏫 School Overview
Wuhan Maple Leaf Educational Park was founded in 2007, covering 400 mu. The Wuhan Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals' School inside the park is the first of its kind approved by the Ministry of Education in Hubei Province, with students from over 20 countries and regions including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
The school offers Kindergarten, Elementary (G1-G6), Middle School (G7-G9) – no high school division. Educational philosophy: "Blending the best of China and the West in education, implementing quality education".
📚 IB Programmes (PYP/MYP)
Since 2025, the school has fully adopted the IB framework covering PYP and MYP. It also offers Maple Leaf's self-developed K12 standard Chinese language program with YCT/HSK tests.
🎓 PYP · Primary Years
For ages 3-12, inquiry-based learning through six transdisciplinary themes. Fosters curiosity, critical thinking and cross-cultural understanding.
Learner Profile: Inquirers, Knowledgeable, Communicators, Caring.
📖 MYP · Middle Years
For ages 11-16, eight subject groups emphasizing interdisciplinary learning, service as action and community engagement. Personal project encourages in-depth exploration.
🇨🇳 Chinese Language
"Five levels, nine stages" graded teaching system. Students can take YCT/HSK proficiency tests.
🌍 Full English Environment
All subjects except Chinese are taught in English with small class sizes.
🏟️ Campus Facilities
The school is located by Tangxun Lake, sharing facilities including library, labs, lecture halls, and a top‑level ice sports venue meeting national professional standards in Central China.
🍽️ Catering: The school cafeteria provides Halal food, no pork.
